Personal Information Protection Policy

The Peacemind Inc. mission is to use our expert mental health-related services to assist in resolving individual and organizational problems at every stage and contribute to social harmony and lasting development. Recognizing our social responsibility as an organization that provides corporate employee assistance programs (EAP) and counseling services, as well as the importance of handling personal information in compliance with laws and regulations governing personal information, we endeavor to protect personal information based on the following policy.

 

Section 1. Acquiring & using personal information

When acquiring and using personal information, we clearly identify the purposes for which it is used, and after obtaining the individual’s consent we acquire and use information to the extent necessary to accomplish those purposes using lawful and fair means. Additionally, we do not use information for other than the intended purposes nor do we provide or disclose it to third parties without the individual's consent, and we take measures to prevent this from occurring.

 

Section 2. Complying with laws and regulations governing the protection of personal information

Peacemind complies with applicable laws and regulations concerning the personal information in our possession, as well policies set by the national government and other norms.

 

Section 3. Managing and protecting personal information

We strictly control personal information and we take appropriate preventive and corrective measures to prevent unauthorized access, loss, destruction, or tampering, or leaks.

 

Section 4. Responding to complaints and inquiries

Peacemind has established a point of contact for complaints and requests for advice concerning personal information, and these are addressed appropriately.

 

Section 5. Constant improvement of the personal information protection management system

Along with establishing control rules to ensure that personal information is handled appropriately, Peacemind has also built a personal information protection management system that we use. We regularly review this system and constantly improve it.
